math 3 14 is National Pi Day (the math number, not the punany)

Today is March 14th: National Pi Day.  A day for all of geekdom to celebrate the number that never ends and I never understood.  They picked March 14 because Pi to us dummies is 3.14 — to the kid that got A’s it’s like a 3.14 with like a thousand freaking numbers after it.

I guess geeks deserve something to celebrate too.  I got St. Patrick’s Day, my favorite holiday, coming up.  I get to celebrate all things alcohol…so let them have their Pi.  It’s probably the only “pie” they’ve seen in a while anyway  :)
