Bus Accident on I-270 MD …Satisfactory Safety?
Tragedy struck yesterday as I sat in my car for 4 1/2 hours to go 20 miles…… I mean tragedy struck as a field trip bus from PA went off the sky ramp and crashed on to the spur of I-270 MD, killing the 66 year old bus driver and injuring several children and adults.
The bus from Wolf’s Bus Lines was returning to PA from a day at the National Zoo and the National Mall. It’s been released that Wolf’s has recently received a “satisfactory” rating for safety. That’s good? In school that was like a “C”. That’s comforting.
“Hey kids, let’s get on the C rated bus with an elderly driver from Pennsylvania on out of state roads”…sounds like a fun day to me!
